All pieces must be framed or matted. Shrink wrap is optional, except for pieces that need protection, such as pastel & oil pastel art. All must have a hanging device on the back.
Due to limited space, a maximum of one piece of art per student may be submitted.
Two-dimensional pieces may not exceed 48” (height plus width), including frame.
Three-dimensional pieces must not exceed 36” in either direction or exceed fifty (50) pounds in weight.
Please bring all entries to the Center For Art & Education, 104 North 13th, Van Buren, AR.
Competition entries will hang for the duration of the exhibit, from the Opening Reception and Awards Ceremonies through Friday, April 27 at 4 p.m. No art may be removed from the exhibit before April 27, 2012.
Each entry must be presented with two forms. One is to be firmly attached to the back of the entry in the upper right hand corner. The second is to be presented when you check in.
Information on these forms must be neatly printed or typed. Teachers making multiple entries should make as many copies of the forms as needed. If you will fill in teacher’s name, school, address, phone, etc. on one page of forms before copying, it will save you time and lots of unnecessary writing.
Reasonable care will be exercised in the handling of the artwork. However, FSRAM and CAE provide no insurance coverage. Artists desiring insurance must provide their own.
Submission of an entry to this competition constitutes an agreement on the part of the entrant to these conditions.
